Rachel Klechevsky

I received my MSW at NYU, completed a Master’s of Human Sexuality Education at Widener University and am currently working towards a Doctorate of Marriage & Family Therapy at Northcentral University.

I am a sex and relationship therapist for individuals, couples, and multi-partner/polyamorous relationships. I specialize in grief/bereavement therapy and LGBTQ, asexuality, polyamory/kink/BDSM-affirmative therapy utilizing solution focused, existential, narrative and psycho-dynamic treatments.

Sex and sexuality are important aspects of our lives. We have many ideas that stem from media, friends, family, religion and our own sexual experiences, which can be confusing and painful.

Sex therapy helps make sense of what you know about sex, sexuality, sensuality & relationships in order to heal the wounds of sexualization – the negative feelings & experiences associated with sex. It addresses sexual dysfunction, “coming out,” fantasy, gender identity, negotiating relationships, sexual identity & sexual orientation in a safe and validating environment.

The work we do together will help you gain insight and be able to find your authentic sexual self and to make changes to relieve the effect of the obstacles that have held you back to achieve greater choice, freedom, and effectiveness.
